Durch den Einsatz von Additiven wie z. B. Kohlenstoff wurden aus vielen Kunststoffen <strong>elektrisch leitf\u00e4hige Materialien<\/strong> hergestellt. PMMA ESD, ist ein hartbeschichtetes Material, das siebenmal best\u00e4ndiger als Glas ist, aber nur halb so viel wiegt. PC wird dort verwendet, wo Sicherheit und Einbruchschutz wichtig sind und m\u00f6gliche, bei der Verwendung entstehende Kratzer nicht st\u00f6ren.
